Learn to skate with CCRDU has begun

Introducing our newest skaters

Our learn to skate / fresh meat program officially began today. We had a fantastic turn out and we were all so impressed with how well all the ladies skated given that most of them had never skated before.

Check out some of the fun photos from today. Everyone had a blast and we had an amazing time teaching them all. We had great feedback from everyone on what a fun day it was and we can't wait to keep working with everyone to improve their skills.

If you’re keen on learning to skate or playing roller derby, then make sure you sign up for our next intake due to start in May. You can then reserve your skates and padding and to make sure you don't miss out on gear in your size.

We want to take the opportunity to thank Central Coast Council once again for their community grant as it allowed us the opportunity to give all these wonderful people the chance to try learning to roller skate and getting a taste of what roller derby will be like before they need to invest in their own roller skates and safety gear. For that we are super grateful.
